Final Campfire

Packup from 7:00 - 8:00pm. Campfire 8 - 9:30. Departure 9 - 9:45.

After two years of hiatus, we plan to allow parents to join us for Friday campfires in summer of 2022. We will continue to monitor the pandemic situation and send details by email to registered parents. The information on this page is about the normal campfire, but things may change as we learn about 2022 requirements.

You are invited to join us for the final campfire on Friday evening.

Campfire begins at 8pm and goes until about 9:30 or 9:45. It is located on the beach. Parent seating is on the bleachers in the back of the campfire circle.

If you will be taking your camper with you after the campfire, please come at 7pm to help get them packed up before campfire, and make sure you sign out your camper with the counselor on check-out at campfire.

It will be dark when you leave campfire, so you may want to bring a flashlight.

If it rains we will still hold 'campfire', but in the Colosseum.

Should I pick my camper up on Friday night or Saturday morning?

Regular pickup & checkout is Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00am.

You may pick your camper up either Friday night at the campfire or Saturday morning. Check with your camper before dropping him off to decide.

May I come to Friday campfire and not pick up my kid?

Yes. You may come just to watch or to pickup. If you are coming only to watch, you should arrive at 7:55pm to park and walk down.

Can I still buy a camp shirt Friday?

Yes. Camp shirts are usually on sale Friday evening from 7 - 8 by Headquarters. If you do not see the t-shirt table out, ask a counselor to help get you one. If the campfire is indoors due to rain, there will likely not be a table setup, but you can still buy a shirt if you ask.

How many kids stay Friday night?

About 60 - 70% of the campers stay over Friday night and 30 - 40% go home. This varies widely by week, and is sometimes as high as 50 / 50. Some cabins may end up with only a couple of kids in them Friday night, and we may combine them for fun.
