Plan your wedding day or weekend at a spectacular children’s summer camp where weddings are conducted on one of the most beautiful lake beaches in Maine. The camp has facilities and equipment for wedding party activities including volleyball, swimming, kayaking, hiking, softball, basketball, and dodgeball. The wedding camp staff will also play dancing and singing music at a Friday campfire before the wedding, and an optional Saturday campfire after the reception.
Receptions can be held in a rented party tent in the lakeside field. The tent can also serve as a rain site for the ceremony. The dining hall is also available for smaller receptions of 80 or fewer. The dining hall is 40’ x 60’ and was built in 1930. The floor is perfect for dancing.
Private honeymoon cabin with private bathroom, queen sized bed, and linens provided. Cabins for wedding guests were built in 1930. Sleeping bags required for guests.
Sample weekend schedule:
1:00 to 5:00 Friday arrival & move into cabins
1:00 to 5:00 Afternoon swimming, volleyball, softball, dodgeball, hiking, kayaking.
5:00 to 6:00 Happy Hour (per your own arrangements)
6:00 to 7:30 Cookout or caterers will do lobster dinners (you organize, choose, and hire)
7:30 Wedding rehearsal on the beach
8:30 Rehearsal campfire with songs, stories, dances, toasts, etc.
8:00 to 9:00 Breakfast or brunch (per your own arrangements)
9:00 to noon wedding preparations for wedding families
9:00 to noon swimming, hiking, kayaking, volleyball, etc. for wedding guests
Noon wedding party prepares in cabins
1:00 Wedding on the wide lake beach
1:30 – 8:00 Wedding reception & dancing (you organize, choose, and hire food caterer & band)
8:30 Optional post-reception campfire
10:00 Tiki-torch volleyball
8:00 to 9:00 Breakfast (per your own arrangements)
Swimming, volleyball, hiking
Sunday departure any time before 5:00 p.m.
DAY RATES
Up to 50 guests = $2,000
Up to 100 guests = $2,500
Up to 150 guests = $3,000
Up to 200 guests = $3,500
Up to 250 guests = $4,500
Up to 300 guests = $5,500
OVERNIGHT RATES
$4,000 for up to 80 overnight guests (10 per cabin), and 120 wedding guests. $60 per overnight guest after 80. $25 per wedding guest for the day. Includes use of cabins, dining hall, kitchen, restrooms and showers, beach, fields, and trails. Does not include food, beverages, or linen for cabins other than the Honeymoon cabin.
