The Dodgeball Camp program is composed of popular American children’s games supervised by our staff of college student counselors. Activity options will include classic games, field games, woods games, water sports, and traditional children’s activities.
Classic games and field games offered as options will include wiffle ball, kick ball, jump rope, ultimate Frisbee, capture the flag, and tug-of-war. Several varieties of dodgeball will also be options each day.
The forest trail system is used for our woods games which include tennis ball fights, guerilla warfare, kick the can, and capture the flag.
Swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and beach volleyball will be offered at the waterfront during most activity periods.
Knitting, board games, hula hooping, limbo, and drama will be options during many periods.
Camp games and activities are supervised for fair play, good sportsmanship, and fun. The program intends to give campers many structured activities options, but also choices that give campers the freedom they enjoy at school recess or playing with friends in the neighborhood.
Every evening concludes with a campfire that features contests, singing, dancing, awards, recognition, stories, and encouragement for good standards of outdoor living such as leaving places cleaner than we find them.
Campers will be closely supervised at night by counselors in the cabin and counselors on patrol between the girls' cabin area and the boys' cabin area and throughout the peninsula.
